Dr. Charles Nyhus, MD

Dr. Charles Nyhus, MD earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota and completed his Family Practice residency at the University of North Dakota Family Practice Residency in Bismarck, ND.  

 

Dr. Nyhus is a board-certified Family Practice Physician and has been in practice in Harvey since 1978.

 

A Harvey native—born and raised—Dr. Nyhus has a heart for the Harvey community and rural family practice medicine.

 

Dr. Nyhus provides complete family practice care including treatment for diabetes mellitus, colonoscopies, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, well woman care and routine pediatrics.

He enjoys fishing, ice fishing, upland bird hunting, big game hunting, and cross-country skiing. He and his wife Shari have five children, nine grandchildren, and two dogs. 

Julie Keller, PA

Julie Keller, PA earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Mary and completed her Physician's Assistance program at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.  

 

Julie is a board-certified Physician's Assistant and has worked with Dr. Nyhus for over 25 years.

When she's not working, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and serving in her local parish.

Tammie Susag, ASPN

Tammie earned her Associate of Science in Practical Nurcing at  NDSCS. She has worked alongside Dr. Nyhus for over 29 years and has served as an EMT for Harvey Ambulance for over 25 years.  

In her free time, Tammie enjoys spending time with her husband and three girls as well as cake decorating.

Shirlee Kuhn, LP

Shirlee graduated from NDSSS in 1978. She served on the Med Surg, OB, and ER floors for over 12 years at St. Aloisius Hospital before joining Central Dakota Clinic team in 1990. 

On her off days, Shirlee loves spending time with her two daughters, two son in laws, and five grandchildren.
